A handwoven nuni silk by cotton saree in azo-free dyes woven by the women of the Mishing tribe in Assam. It has a single charcoal black stripe along the border. The butter yellow body has sparsely placed woven bird motifs traditional to Mishing weaving in red and white throughout. The rich pallu is adorned with the same motifs closely woven alongside stripes of traditional weaving in the same shades. This saree is an outcome of 1.5 months of hard work by the Mishing women weavers. It comes with an additional plain yellow blouse piece.
