As part of our premium collection 'Bunavat Royale', this hand-block print has been designed keeping in mind Mughal & Persian architecture. It's a contemporary take on the age-old technique of hand-block printing inspired by the many jharokhas, darbars and baghans of our forts and palaces, showcasing the traditional as well as geometrical renditions of their carved patterns and their placement interspersed with lines of varying thickness. This saree has been handwoven by Babu, one of our weavers from Bengal and hand-block printed by Ashfaq. This saree took about 7 days from weaving to printing. We urge you to appreciate the craftsmanship, precision and the patience required to arrive at the final product from a graphical representation.
