Dabu

Bagru is an indigenous method of hand block printing fabrics practised by the Chhipa community of Rajasthan. The block printing is usually carried out either by directly dousing the block in the dye or through a mud-resist technique known as Dabu. Natural dyes such as indigo and desiccated pomegranate peels or azo-free dyes are usually used in the process.
