The Saree
A beautiful expression of Bengal’s handloom heritage, this Begumpuri cotton saree pairs a crisp white body with vibrant accents of mango yellow and red. The pristine white canvas is brought to life with intricate extra-weft motifs woven in warm mango yellow and red, creating a rhythmic interplay of colour across the body. Interspersed between the motifs are distinctive red strips that add structure and visual movement to the otherwise serene base. Along the edges, a bold red border is defined by fine white strips, while the opposite side is adorned with traditional red temple motifs, adding a distinctly architectural and heritage-inspired character to the drape. The balanced contrast of white, mango yellow, and red gives this saree a striking yet graceful presence.
The Pallu
The pallu extends the saree’s vibrant visual language, bringing together the rich red detailing and the geometric rhythm characteristic of Begumpuri weaving. The interplay of the crisp white base with bold red accents creates a graphic, structured finish, while the temple-inspired motifs add a sense of traditional symbolism and craftsmanship. Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
