The Saree
A beautiful expression of Bengal's traditional handloom heritage, this off-white cotton saree is woven in the Dhonekhali cluster of West Bengal, celebrated for its lightweight, breathable, and comfortable textiles. The serene off-white body is enlivened with alternating horizontal lines in vibrant red and yellow, creating a rhythmic linear pattern across the length of the saree. Framing this understated body is a distinctive Ganga Jamuna border, bringing contrasting colour and definition to the edges, while traditional temple motifs add a beautiful architectural element rooted in Indian textile heritage. The interplay of the natural off-white base with red and yellow creates a timeless yet cheerful colour story.
The Pallu
The pallu continues the saree's horizontal striped rhythm, gradually introducing a striking woven detail towards its end. Here, yellow vertical lines are woven over the existing horizontal stripes, creating a subtle checked pattern that adds visual depth and movement to the pallu. This thoughtful transition gives the drape a distinctive finish while staying true to the saree's simple, geometric aesthetic.
The Blouse
This saree does not come with a separate blouse piece, allowing you complete freedom to pair it with a blouse in a shade drawn from the saree's red, yellow, or off-white palette. The saree is initially firm due to the starching process, but gradually softens with regular wear while retaining its graceful drape. It is especially well suited to the Indian climate, making it an easy choice for everyday wear, summer dressing, festive gatherings, and relaxed cultural occasions.

Care Instructions: The saree comes pre-starched, and we recommend re-starching periodically to help retain its crisp structure. However, it can also be worn and maintained without starch for a softer, more fluid drape. Wash gently with a mild detergent and dry in shade. Store folded in a clean, dry muslin cloth away from direct sunlight.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
