The Saree
A striking composition of colour and traditional Bengal handloom artistry, this off-white and melon cotton saree is woven in the Dhonekhali cluster of West Bengal. The off-white body is detailed with fine red horizontal lines, creating a subtle linear rhythm across the fabric. At the centre, a bold solid melon-coloured panel introduces a warm burst of colour, creating a distinctive visual transition within the saree. The edges are framed by a traditional Ganga Jamuna border, featuring green on the upper edge and red on the lower edge, each finished with fine bands of white and the alternate colour. This thoughtful combination of contrasting colours gives the saree a vibrant yet balanced character, rooted in Bengal's rich weaving traditions.
The Pallu
The pallu builds on the saree's colourful contrast with bold bands of alternating red and green stripes, creating a strong rhythmic finish across the drape. Towards the end, the pallu culminates in the traditional woven ‘dhaner sheesh’ motif, inspired by the graceful form of a rice ear and closely associated with Bengal's cultural and agrarian heritage. The vivid red and green composition gives the pallu a lively character while complementing the distinctive Ganga Jamuna borders beautifully.
The Blouse
This saree does not come with a separate blouse piece, giving you the freedom to style it with a blouse in red, green, melon, or off-white. A solid contrasting blouse can highlight the Ganga Jamuna colour story, while a softer neutral blouse creates a more understated look.

Care Instructions: The saree comes pre-starched, and we recommend periodic starching to help maintain its crisp structure. However, it can also be worn and maintained without starch for a softer, more relaxed drape. Wash gently with a mild detergent and dry in shade. Store folded in a clean, dry muslin cloth away from direct sunlight.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
