The Saree
A graceful expression of Bengal’s handloom heritage, this cream cotton saree is woven in the Dhonekhali cluster of West Bengal, known for its lightweight, breathable, and comfortable cotton textiles. The warm cream-coloured body is enriched with fine red horizontal lines, creating a simple yet distinctive linear rhythm across the fabric. Framing the body is an intricate border that brings together traditional temple and Noksha Paar motifs, adding architectural detail and a beautiful sense of movement to the edges. The soft cream and vibrant red colour story gives the saree a timeless, understated elegance while celebrating the richness of traditional Bengali weaving.
The Pallu
The pallu continues the structured visual language of the saree with bands of red stripes in varying widths, creating a rhythmic transition across the drape. Woven into this arrangement is the traditional ‘dhaner sheesh’ motif, inspired by the graceful form of a rice ear and deeply connected to Bengal’s cultural and agrarian heritage. The combination of varied stripes and symbolic woven detailing gives the pallu a distinctive artisanal finish while complementing the linear body beautifully.
The Blouse
This saree does not come with a separate blouse piece, giving you the flexibility to pair it with a blouse in red, cream, or another complementary shade. A solid red blouse creates a bold contrast, while a cream blouse keeps the look soft and classic.

With regular wear, the cotton gradually softens and develops a softer, more fluid drape while retaining its distinctive handwoven character. Its airy construction makes it especially suited to the Indian climate and ideal for everyday wear, summer dressing, cultural occasions, and relaxed festive gatherings.

Care Instructions: The saree comes pre-starched, and we recommend periodic starching to help retain its crisp structure. However, it can also be worn and maintained without starch for a softer, more relaxed drape. Wash gently with a mild detergent and dry in shade. Store folded in a clean, dry muslin cloth away from direct sunlight.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
