The Saree
A refined expression of traditional Gadwal craftsmanship, this saree brings together a delicate cotton body with an authentic Kuttu pure silk border, creating a beautiful contrast of texture, colour, and sheen. The body is woven with exceptionally fine off-white micro-checks, lending the understated ground a subtle geometric character. Framing this delicate canvas is a saturated tomato red pure silk border, richly detailed with woven Rudraksh motifs and graceful vines in golden zari. A distinctive mehendi green selvedge introduces a contrasting note of colour, while the traditional Kuttu technique seamlessly joins the silk border to the cotton body, reflecting the precision of Gadwal weaving.
The Pallu
The pallu continues in rich tomato red pure mulberry silk, creating a luminous and luxurious extension of the border. Woven across the silk ground are intricate Rudraksh motifs in golden zari, interspersed with fine zari lines at regular intervals. The rhythmic arrangement creates a richly ornamented surface with a grand, ceremonial character, beautifully complementing the understated micro-checks of the cotton body.
The Blouse
This saree does not come with a separate blouse piece, allowing you to pair it with a blouse in tomato red, mehendi green, off-white, or another complementary shade. A tomato red silk blouse can echo the richness of the pallu, while an off-white or mehendi green blouse can highlight the contrasting tones of the border.
