The Saree
An analytical study in fine geometry and refreshing contrast, ‘Banalata’ brings a sharp, architectural frame to our signature Bengal handloom series. Meticulously hand-loomed using premium handspun cotton by cotton threads by master weavers in the Bardhaman cluster of West Bengal, this saree showcases an ultra-refreshing mint green base. The body is broken down by fine, vertical alternating navy and white pinstripes that run continuously across the body, introducing an impeccable sense of structure and elongation. This clean lines layout flows into the double palla, where tiny, organic abstract Jamdani bird motifs in blue, red and white which float effortlessly across the mint canvas, framed by a striking, solid ultramarine blue edge followed by a thin mustard yellow selvedge that bounds the silhouette with graphic authority.
The Pallu
The pallu offers a rhythmic visual anchor, shifting away from the vertical linear body into horizontal sophistication. It is punctuated by clean, horizontal white and navy bands that interlock with dense clusters of the abstract floral Jamdani motifs. This calculated arrangement introduces a sophisticated visual break, balancing the crispness of the pinstripes with traditional geometric precision.
The Blouse
Comes with an unstitched running pure cotton blouse piece where the fresh mint green canvas continues directly from the saree, woven into a clean, plain body to offer a sleek, seamless baseline. Alternatively, style it with a high-contrast ultramarine top to draw out the striking look of the selvedge edge.

- Texture: Soft, light, highly breathable, and semi-translucent, holding a crisp, tailored structure when pleated thanks to the organic texture of the handspun yarns. Designed to easily transition from high-concept professional wear to weekend gallery openings.
- Care Instructions: Hand wash gently in cold water with a mild liquid detergent. Do not soak. Dry flat in the shade to preserve the brilliant contrast of the mint and ultramarine dyes.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
