The Saree
A study in tonal contrasts and considered geometry, this handwoven Mangalagiri cotton saree brings together rich magenta and soft fuchsia in a sophisticated half-and-half composition.
The saree features Mangalagiri’s distinctive missing-check weave, where fine intersecting lines create a delicate, almost graph-like texture across the fabric. The lower half unfolds in a vivid magenta, while the upper half transitions into a softer fuchsia pink. The tonal colour blocking gives the saree a contemporary presence while retaining the lightness and honesty of its handwoven cotton base.
The Ganga-Jamuna borders respond thoughtfully to the changing colours of the body. The magenta section is framed by a soft fuchsia border, while the fuchsia section is edged in contrasting magenta. This considered reversal creates a clean architectural outline and brings balance to the vertically divided design.
The Pallu
The pallu continues the saree’s tonal interplay through broad panels of fuchsia and soft pink woven seamlessly alongside magenta checks. Fine linear detailing moves across the colour-blocked sections, creating a gentle rhythm and adding visual depth without overwhelming the minimal composition.

Note from the Loom: The missing-check texture is created through a considered arrangement of fine warp and weft lines, leaving subtle spaces within the grid. This gives the fabric its distinctive visual rhythm while allowing the lightweight cotton to remain breathable and fluid.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
