The Saree
A beautiful blend of traditional weaving and artisanal printing, this indigo Mangalagiri saree celebrates the timeless appeal of Kalamkari-inspired floral artistry. The body is adorned with intricate floral Kalamkari hand-block prints in shades of blue, black, and green, spread across the entire length of the saree to create a rich and harmonious composition. The deep indigo base provides a striking foundation for the detailed floral motifs, while the contrasting colours lend depth and visual character to the design. Crafted using natural dyes for both the base fabric and the block printing, this saree reflects a thoughtful approach to traditional textile craftsmanship. A lustrous gold zari Nizam border frames the drape beautifully, adding a refined metallic accent that complements the rich indigo palette.
The Pallu
The pallu continues the deep indigo aesthetic, enhanced with elegant gold zari stripes that introduce a subtle linear rhythm and a graceful metallic sheen. The simplicity of the striped pallu creates a balanced contrast against the intricately printed floral body, allowing the Kalamkari motifs to remain the focal point. The gold zari detailing complements the Nizam border, creating a cohesive and polished finish that highlights the saree's traditional character.
The Blouse
Comes complete with a matching indigo running blouse piece measuring 99 cm, featuring a distinctive block-printed design that differs from the floral prints on the saree body. The coordinated indigo base maintains harmony with the overall colour palette, while the contrasting print adds visual interest and versatility in styling. Pair it with traditional gold jewellery to accentuate the zari detailing, or incorporate green or blue accessories to complement the floral motifs for a thoughtfully coordinated ensemble.
