The Saree

An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is woven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a solid, deep midnight black canvas that radiates a minimalist and deeply sophisticated elegance. In a beautiful departure from typical busy graphics, the stark, plain black body remains entirely uninterrupted to allow the vibrant framing elements to dramatically pop. Framing this understated body is a beautifully detailed traditional handwoven Ilkal border built on a vibrant magenta-pink cotton base. Layered cleanly on top of this rich base is a central pattern band featuring intricately structured geometric motifs called chikki paras in a crisp white, finished with fine dark horizontal framing stripes that run elegantly along the fabric to provide a distinct structural edge to the silhouette. Crafted entirely from premium handwoven cotton, this distinct border runs beautifully along the length of the saree, providing an immaculate weight, crisp drape, and complete everyday comfort.

The Pallu

The magnificent pallu is woven from pure cotton, gracefully showcasing a seamless continuation of the handloom’s warp. In this entirely pure cotton piece, the layout elegantly honors traditional design elements while keeping the drape remarkably light. The design layout transitions seamlessly from the solid black body into a striking, rhythmic layout of alternating deep magenta-pink and jet black horizontal cotton bands—bringing a bold, high-contrast framing finish that perfectly balances the minimalism of the body.

The Blouse

Comes with a matching running pure cotton fabric piece in solid midnight black, accented by the vibrant magenta chikki paras borders for the sleeves to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.

Note from the Loom: This saree is a certified handloom masterpiece from the Ilkal cluster. Because this specific style is rendered entirely in 100% pure cotton across the body, border, and pallu, it features a continuous warp structure rather than a mixed-fiber kondi joint, offering an exceptionally soft, uncompromised uniformity. Any minor slubs or subtle thread variations are natural characteristics of this manual process.

Product Note: Being a handwoven product, slight variations in colour, weave, or design are natural and reflect the authentic beauty of handcrafted textiles. The blouses featured in the photoshoots are for representation purposes only and are not for sale.
