The Saree
A distinctive expression of traditional textile artistry, this purple Tussar silk saree combines the natural elegance of Tussar with contemporary discharge hand-block printing. The body features vertical lines in white and dark purple, created through the discharge printing technique, lending the fabric a striking linear rhythm and a beautiful interplay of tonal contrasts. A muted gold zari border measuring 3.5 inches, detailed with a combination of solid and fine stripes, frames the drape with understated sophistication. The rich purple palette, naturally textured fabric, and subtle metallic accents create a saree that is both artistic and timeless.
The Pallu
The pallu stands out with an intriguing geometrical discharge overlap print in shades of blue, purple, and peach. The overlapping colours create a dynamic interplay of shapes and tones, adding depth and a contemporary artistic character to the saree. This multicoloured geometric composition contrasts beautifully with the vertically printed body, while the muted gold zari detailing lends a refined finishing touch.
The Blouse
Comes complete with a plain purple running blouse piece measuring 83 cm, finished with matching muted gold zari borders. The coordinating purple blouse complements the body of the saree, while the zari detailing creates a seamless connection with the border. Style it with gold jewellery and a classic blouse silhouette for an elegant festive look, or opt for a contemporary cut to highlight the saree's artistic print.
