The Saree
A study in stillness, structure and luminous contrast, Luminous Interval brings a refined minimalism to the expressive language of Pochampally Ikat.
The body is woven in a serene silver-grey shade and kept entirely plain, allowing the subtle lustre of the mercerised cotton to take centre stage. This quiet expanse of colour gives the saree an airy, contemporary presence, while creating a considered pause between the more intricately patterned border and pallu.
Framing the body is a cobalt-blue border adorned with traditional Ikat motifs. The vivid blue creates a crisp architectural outline against the silver-grey ground, balancing the restraint of the body with a precise note of colour and pattern.
The Pallu
The pallu opens into a rich cobalt-blue ground, creating a vivid counterpoint to the quiet silver-grey body. Weft-Ikat motifs in grey move across its surface, their softly feathered outlines adding texture and rhythm to the saturated base.
The transition from luminous grey to intense cobalt gives the saree its distinctive character—a measured interval of stillness followed by an expressive play of colour and weave.
The Blouse
The saree comes with an 80 cm blouse piece in contrasting cobalt blue, featuring all-over Ikat motifs in grey. Its detailed surface complements the pallu while bringing a patterned counterpoint to the saree’s minimal body.

Note from the Loom: Pochampally Ikat is created by carefully resist-dyeing sections of yarn before the threads are arranged and woven on the loom. The characteristic feathered outlines, subtle shifts and gentle irregularities within the motifs are treasured marks of this intricate handmade process.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
