The Saree
An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is handwoven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a rich, deeply saturated teal-green base that radiates a sophisticated masterpiece of deep, earthy tones. Dotted with a quiet luxury aesthetic, the plain teal canvas is detailed with scattered, subtle yellow and white floral or geometric butis that introduce a gentle, timeless rhythm across the entire silhouette. Framing this understated body is a beautifully detailed traditional handwoven Begumpuri border built on a striking crimson-red base. Layered cleanly on top of this solid framing is a central band intricately adorned with a sharp, repeating row of traditional leaf-like or serrated Naksha motifs in red and black, set against a delicate white dotted accent row that runs elegantly along the fabric to provide a structural edge and an immaculate weight.
The Pallu
The magnificent pallu gracefully showcases a bold, artistic continuation of the handloom’s warp, grounding the piece in its authentic West Bengal heritage. The design layout commands attention as it transitions seamlessly into a dramatic, multi-striped pallu where bold, vertical bands of crimson, mustard gold, and kora white cut cleanly across the teal-green canvas. Giving it a powerful, contemporary appeal that perfectly balances the minimalism of the body, the textile culminates beautifully in classic, meticulously hand-tied red tassels.
The Blouse
Please note that this traditional heirloom piece is woven in a classic standalone format and does not include a blouse piece, allowing you the creative freedom to pair it with a solid crimson-red, mustard gold, or matching teal blouse to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.
