The Saree
A spirited exploration of colour and geometry, Polychrome brings a vibrant, graphic energy to the traditional language of Pochampally Ikat.
The deep black body is covered in an intricate mix of squares, circles and X-shaped motifs woven in silver grey, mustard and dark red. Repeated across the fabric, these varied geometric forms create a lively visual rhythm—structured yet playful, with each colour adding a distinct layer to the composition.
The silver-grey details bring luminosity to the dark ground, mustard introduces an earthy warmth, and deep red creates a link with the border and pallu. Together, they transform the black body into a richly patterned, multicoloured canvas.
Framing the body is a bold scarlet-red border measuring approximately 3.5 inches. Its clean expanse of colour creates a strong architectural edge, grounding the detailed pattern and drawing the eye towards the pallu.
The Pallu
The pallu opens into a vivid scarlet-red ground, creating a dramatic contrast with the black body. Ivory geometric and floral Ikat motifs repeat across its surface, coming together in a coherent, rhythmic composition.
The transition from the multicoloured body to the scarlet-and-ivory pallu gives the saree a striking finish—bringing its varied colours and shapes into a confident visual whole.
The Blouse
The saree comes with a 79 cm blouse piece in contrasting scarlet red. Kept plain and minimal, it complements the border and pallu while allowing the richly patterned body to remain the focal point.

Note from the Loom: Pochampally Ikat is created by carefully resist-dyeing sections of yarn before the threads are arranged and woven on the loom. The characteristic feathered outlines, subtle shifts and gentle irregularities within the motifs are treasured marks of this intricate handmade process.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
