The Saree

A quiet interplay of geometry, colour and lustrous silk, Rachakonda is a handwoven Pochampally Ikat saree shaped by a refined palette of off-white, charcoal grey and mustard yellow.

The luminous off-white body is covered in an intricate arrangement of small geometric Ikat motifs. Woven in charcoal grey and mustard, the forms come together in a rhythmic, tessellated composition that shifts gently between diamonds, crosses and floral abstractions. Their softly feathered outlines carry the unmistakable character of the resist-dyed Ikat process.

A broad mustard-gold zari border frames the detailed body with warmth and clarity. Its clean, uninterrupted surface provides a striking contrast to the intricacy of the weave, giving the saree a beautifully balanced and contemporary presence.

The Pallu

The pallu brings a bolder interpretation of the saree’s geometric language. Rectangular panels of traditional Ikat motifs are woven in deep earthy brown, off-white and mustard yellow, separated by fine horizontal bands.

Set against a warm mustard ground, the patterned panels create a strong architectural rhythm while remaining connected to the finer motifs across the body. The pallu ends in loose yearns which can be converted into delicate hand-knotted tassels, lending movement and an artisanal finish to the drape.

The Blouse

Comes with an 80 cm coordinating mustard blouse piece designed to complement the saree’s earthy mustard, off-white and charcoal palette.
