The Saree
A striking expression of traditional Tussar silk craftsmanship, this deep blue Tussar saree combines a rich colour palette with intricate extra-weft woven motifs. The body is adorned with delicate 1-inch rhombus motifs in beige, each featuring a red centre, creating a rhythmic geometric pattern against the deep blue ground. Framing the body is a bold 1.5-inch deep red solid border, followed by an additional 1-inch section of fine red stripes that adds definition and visual interest to the drape. The interplay of deep blue, rich red, and beige creates a sophisticated contrast, celebrating the beauty of traditional weaving with a distinctive contemporary appeal.
The Pallu
The continuous pallu makes a striking statement with larger extra-weft woven rhombus motifs measuring approximately 8.5 inches, echoing the geometric design of the body on a more dramatic scale. The beige motifs with red centres stand out beautifully against the deep blue ground, creating a cohesive yet visually impactful composition. The pallu concludes with five fine Tussar stripes and handmade tassels, adding texture and an artisanal finishing touch that enhances the saree's traditional character.
The Blouse
Comes complete with a deep red contrasting blouse piece measuring 99 cm, finished with brighter red borders for a coordinated yet vibrant look. An additional Tussar stripe panel is included, offering the flexibility to incorporate it into the sleeves or back of the blouse for a distinctive design detail. The rich red blouse complements the saree's border and the red centres of the woven motifs, creating a balanced and elegant ensemble.
