The Saree

A luminous expression of Pochampally’s celebrated Ikat tradition, Satmal is handwoven in mulberry silk with an light grey ground brought alive by intricate motifs in vivid magenta.

The body is covered in an elaborate composition of floral and geometric forms, their softly feathered edges revealing the beauty of the Ikat process. Woven across the saree in a rhythmic repeat, the motifs create a rich tapestry of pattern while the light grey base lends the drape a luxurious quality.

Framing the body is a broad gold zari border, edged in bright magenta. The warmth of the zari and the vivid colour accent bring definition to the intricate body, giving the saree a festive presence that feels both timeless and striking.

The Pallu

The pallu continues the saree’s vivid magenta colour story through alternating bands of geometric and floral Ikat motifs. Fine horizontal zari lines separate the patterned panels, creating a considered rhythm across the drape.

The pallu brings together pattern, colour and movement in a richly detailed conclusion and can be finished with tassels.

The Blouse

Comes with an 80 cm blouse piece in a contrast deep magenta shade, designed to complement the saree’s vivid Ikat motifs and border.
