The Saree
A captivating expression of contemporary Maheshwari craftsmanship, this saree features a beautiful ombré effect blending dark green, blue, and light green, enhanced by a distinctive brown dual-tone effect with a subtle gold undertone. The gradual interplay of these earthy and jewel-toned hues creates depth and dimension across the body, allowing the colours to transition gracefully along the drape. Scattered throughout the fabric are small gold zari bud motifs, adding delicate points of shimmer that enrich the design without overwhelming its fluid colour composition.
Framing the ombré body is a traditional gold zari Diya border, lending definition and a luminous finish to the edges. The warm gold detailing complements the subtle gold undertone of the body, while the brown dual-tone effect adds depth to the green and blue palette. Together, these elements create a distinctive saree that balances contemporary colour play with traditional handwoven elegance.
The Pallu
The pallu introduces a bold textural contrast with thick brown strips interspersed with thin gold zari stripes on either sides. In the central segment the pallu has the gold zari butas. The deeper brown detailing complements the dual-tone effect of the body, while the fine gold stripes bring a delicate metallic sheen. This interplay of bold and slender lines creates a striking finish that echoes the gold zari motifs and Diya border, bringing cohesion to the overall design.
The Blouse
The saree comes complete with a running blouse piece measuring 78 cm. A blouse in dark green, blue, light green, or brown can complement the saree's layered colour palette. For a coordinated festive look, gold jewellery beautifully echoes the zari motifs and border.
