The Saree

Woven by skilled artisans in the historic Dhonekhali weaving clusters of West Bengal, the saree features a luminous yolk yellow body enlivened with alternating horizontal red stripes. Nestled gracefully between these rhythmic bands are delicately woven rhombus motifs, lending the fabric depth, movement and a subtle visual texture. The harmonious interplay of warm yellow and vibrant red evokes the glow of the morning sun over Bengal's golden fields, resulting in a saree that feels both joyful and sophisticated.
Adding further character to the composition are the traditional Ganga-Jamuna borders, woven in contrasting shades of yolk yellow and rich red. Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
