January 2025 marks 7 years of our Founder's journey to Ajrakhpur in Gujarat. An experience so powerful that it inspired her to start Bunavat a month later. This collection, ‘Rang-e-Maazi’, a celebration of the hues of the past, is therefore a tribute to our artisans in Ajrakhpur and our journey thereafter.
Ajrakh embodies the harmony of heritage and sustainability, while Maheshwari celebrates India’s rich textile weaving tradition. We urge you to explore these two textile traditions through our lens - ‘Rang-e-Maazi’.
