The Saree

An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is handwoven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a solid, deep black canvas that radiates a minimalist and deeply sophisticated elegance. This dramatic background serves as the perfect canvas for a striking arrangement of intricate all-over bands featuring fine geometric fishes woven in alternating vibrant orange and rich rani pink. These patterned bands lend the body a beautifully textured dimension and a lively, contemporary rhythm across the entire silhouette. Framing this high-contrast body are magnificent, classic Begumpuri borders showcasing a brilliant rani pink-magenta band on both sides. These borders are intricately adorned with a sharp, repeating row of traditional serrated Naksha temple motifs and geometric extra-weft bands pointing inward to frame the piece with a regal, structural edge and an immaculate weight.

The Pallu

The magnificent pallu gracefully showcases a bold, artistic continuation of the handloom’s warp, grounding the piece in its authentic West Bengal heritage. The design layout commands attention as it transitions seamlessly into a dramatic arrangement punctuated by bold extra-weft motifs. It features a dense network of fine vertical black stripes woven across a vivid rani pink canvas, dynamically intersected by wide, ornate horizontal bands of bright orange and magenta. Giving it a powerful, modern appeal that beautifully complements the geometric motifs of the body, the textile culminates elegantly in classic, meticulously hand-tied tassels.

The Blouse

Please note that this traditional heirloom piece is woven in a classic standalone format and does not include a blouse piece, allowing you the creative freedom to pair it with a solid black linen shirt, a vibrant orange blouse, or a contrasting rani pink crop top to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.
