The Saree
An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is woven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a solid, deep charcoal black. The dramatic black canvas is detailed with elegant, precisely spaced white dash-extra weft motifs woven into the fabric, providing a minimalist and highly sophisticated geometric rhythm. Framing this striking textured body is a rich, traditional handwoven border. The border is built on a magnificent multi-toned emerald green and teal base colour, neatly highlighted and framed by sharp, clean silver geometric lines running along the sides. Crafted from a premium art silk (viscose rayon) and cotton mix, this vibrant border runs elegantly along the length of the fabric, providing an immaculate weight and structural edge to the silhouette.
The Pallu
The magnificent pallu is woven from pure mulberry silk, showcasing the authentic, storied Topi Teni weaving art. Using this traditional interlocking warp technique, the luxurious pure silk pallu is masterfully joined directly to the charcoal black cotton body of the saree. It commands attention as it transitions dynamically into a high-shine, vibrant emerald-green solid silk block adorned with traditional silver-grey temple towers (tope), before culminating in the classic, signature Ilkal layout of alternating deep metallic and rich emerald-green horizontal silk bands.
The Blouse
Comes with a matching running pure cotton fabric piece in deep charcoal black, accented with emerald green and teal borders on the sleeves to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.

Note from the Loom: This saree is a certified handloom masterpiece from the Ilkal cluster. The Topi Teni technique involves physically interlocking the silk warp of the pallu with the cotton warp of the body. Any minor slubs, tiny irregularities, or thread variations at the joint are prized characteristics of this highly intensive manual process.
Product Note: Being a handwoven product, slight variations in colour, weave, or design are natural and reflect the authentic beauty of handcrafted textiles. The blouses featured in the photoshoots are for representation purposes only and are not for sale.
Product Note
This is a completely handmade product from craftspeople and therefore, slight variations in colors or design may occur across pieces. Any slight irregularities are distinctive and inherent to the beauty of this creation due to the nature of the product. We have tried to capture the color in natural light, however there may be slight variations due to individual screen settings.
We hope you enjoy draping this wearable art which is truly a labor of love. Our weavers and artisans put in their utmost efforts and skills in making these products, which are a living testimony of our country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
