The Saree
An exceptionally fresh, avant-garde masterpiece that redefines traditional design, the body of this authentic handwoven Dhonekhali saree is a breathtaking study in color-blocking and fine linear rhythm. Woven in the historic weaving clusters of West Bengal, the canvas features a unique three-tier horizontal division every 13 inches. The top and bottom sections, sitting flush against the borders, are adorned with a crisp stripe play featuring horizontal bands of the lightest mint shade sliced by ultra-fine jungle green pinstripes. Breaking up these striped sections, the center tier of the saree body transitions into a solid, captivating two-toned teal panel, creating a brilliant, high-fashion colorblocked silhouette.
Framing this masterfully divided body is a classic Ganga-Jamuna layout, featuring two distinctly colored borders that are both approximately 4.5 inches wide. The upper border is dipped in a deep, solid jungle green, visually split at the 3/4th mark by a specialized 0.5-inch inner stripe composed of micro-fine mauve and white lines. The lower border beautifully mirrors this exact layout but masterfully flips the color theory—showcasing a rich, two-tone mauve and green base divided by sharp green and white pinstripes that visually enhance the entire lower drape.
The Pallu
The pallu bursts into a spectacular, high-contrast palette that grounds the cool tones of the body. It features a festive arrangement of half-inch horizontal stripes in a vivid mix of bright bubblegum pink, dusty mauve, and deep jungle green. Bringing this energetic stripe play to a graceful finish are rows of the iconic 'Dhaaner Sheesh' (sheaf of paddy) motif handwoven in crisp white extra-weft threads, ending in beautifully hand-tied matching tassels.
The Blouse
This saree is a standalone heritage piece and does not come with a blouse piece. To accentuate its striking, contemporary colorblocks, pair it with a solid sleeveless teal cotton blouse, a tailored bubblegum pink linen crop top, or a deep jungle green boat-neck blouse to highlight the asymmetric upper border.

Specifications & Care
- Texture: Exceptionally lightweight, highly breathable, and perfectly suited for the nuances of Indian weather. This saree arrives starched to hold a crisp, pristine form right out of the box. While we recommend light starching to maintain its signature, sophisticated structure, it can absolutely be worn and maintained without starch as well. If you prefer a completely fluid drape, we recommend soaking the saree overnight in salt water to easily remove the starch. The fabric possesses an incredible quality of growing softer, more fluid, and more supple with every subsequent wash and wear.
- Care Instructions: Gentle hand wash separately in cold water only using a mild liquid detergent. Do not wring or squeeze excessively. Avoid drying in direct sunlight to maintain the distinct brilliance of the turmeric yellow and green hand-dyed yarns.
- Shipping: Free shipping within India.
- Delivery: Dispatched and delivered within 3–8 business days from the date of your order.
