The Saree
A brilliant, sun-drenched homage to a fresh Bengal morning, the body of this authentic handwoven Dhonekhali masterpiece features a striking vertical striped layout. Crafted with meticulous precision in the historic Dhonekhali weaving clusters of West Bengal, the entire canvas is defined by alternating, two-tone vertical stripes each approximately 1 inch wide running seamlessly throughout the body in vibrant shades of turmeric yellow and classic mango leaf green. Framing this radiant, rhythmic body is an incredibly clever and highly structured dobby border. The border is designed with a sequence of solid stripes, starting at the outermost edge with a half-cm wide green dobby line, followed by a bold, solid green stripe that is woven dynamically to intersect with the body stripes, creating a subtle checked effect. This is beautifully mirrored by an inner white stripe woven in the exact same fashion, followed by an elegant turmeric yellow stripe, before culminating elegantly in a running row of traditional, artistic paisley motifs handwoven in green.
The Pallu
The pallu serves as a stunning extension of the saree's vibrant botanical story, bringing together the rich turmeric yellow, mango leaf green, and crisp white accents in a beautifully balanced, traditional Dhonekhali layout. The Blouse
This saree is a standalone heritage piece and does not come with a blouse piece. To accentuate its rich, tropical palette, pair it with a solid sleeveless mango leaf green cotton blouse, a tailored turmeric yellow crop top, or a contrasting off-white boat-neck blouse to elegantly draw attention to the unique white stripe highlights in the border.

- Texture: Exceptionally lightweight, highly breathable, and perfectly suited for the nuances of Indian weather. This saree arrives starched to hold a crisp, pristine form right out of the box. While we recommend light starching to maintain its signature, sophisticated structure, it can absolutely be worn and maintained without starch as well. If you prefer a completely fluid drape, we recommend soaking the saree overnight in salt water to easily remove the starch. The fabric possesses an incredible quality of growing softer, more fluid, and more supple with every subsequent wash and wear.
- Care Instructions: Gentle hand wash separately in cold water only using a mild liquid detergent. Do not wring or squeeze excessively. Avoid drying in direct sunlight to maintain the distinct brilliance of the turmeric yellow and green hand-dyed yarns.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
