The Saree
An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is woven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a rich, warm jamun violet-purple shade. This striking, checkered canvas is beautifully detailed with a crisp white micro-check pattern that radiates a bold, timeless geometric rhythm across the entire body. Framing this textured body is a beautifully detailed traditional handwoven Ilkal border built on a matching vibrant purple base colour. Layered elegantly on top of this rich base is a central pattern band featuring intricately structured geometric motifs called chikki paras in a shimmering silvery white, finished with fine light horizontal framing stripes that run elegantly along the fabric to provide a structural edge to the silhouette. Crafted from a premium art silk (viscose rayon) and cotton mix, this distinct purple border runs beautifully along the length of the saree, providing an immaculate weight and crisp drape.
The Pallu
The magnificent pallu is woven from pure mulberry silk, showcasing the authentic, storied Topi Teni weaving art. Using this traditional interlocking warp technique, the luxurious pure silk pallu is masterfully joined directly to the jamun cotton body of the saree. It transitions seamlessly into a high-shine, rich violet-purple solid silk block adorned with traditional white temple towers (tope), before culminating in the classic, signature Ilkal layout of alternating shimmering silver and solid violet horizontal silk bands.
The Blouse
Comes with a matching running pure cotton fabric piece in warm jamun purple with the same delicate white micro-checks, accented by the vibrant purple borders for the sleeves to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.

Note from the Loom: This saree is a certified handloom masterpiece from the Ilkal cluster. The Topi Teni technique involves physically interlocking the silk warp of the pallu with the cotton warp of the body. Any minor slubs, tiny irregularities, or thread variations at the joint are prized characteristics of this highly intensive manual process.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
