The Saree
An exquisite masterclass in clean architecture and everyday drapeability, the body of the saree is woven from fine, breathable pure cotton in a pleasing strawberry milk pink base. This bright, checkered canvas is beautifully detailed with an intricate red and fresh white micro-check pattern that radiates a lively, timeless geometric rhythm across the entire body. Framing this textured body is a striking, traditional handwoven border. The border is built on a rich Rani pink base colour, intricately adorned with structured geometric motifs known as the Gayathri border pattern in a shimmering silvery white, and finished with clean framing lines that run elegantly along the edges. Crafted from a premium art silk (viscose rayon) and cotton mix, this vibrant rani pink border runs beautifully along the length of the fabric, providing an immaculate weight and structural edge to the silhouette.
The Pallu
The magnificent pallu is woven from pure mulberry silk, showcasing the authentic, storied Topi Teni weaving art. Using this traditional interlocking warp technique, the luxurious pure silk pallu is masterfully joined directly to the checkered cotton body of the saree. It commands attention as it transitions seamlessly into an opulent, bold solid rani pink silk block adorned with traditional white temple towers (tope), before culminating in the classic, signature Ilkal layout of alternating shimmering silver and rich rani pink horizontal silk bands.
The Blouse
Comes with a matching running pure cotton fabric piece in strawberry milk pink with the same delicate red and white micro-checks, accented by the rich rani pink borders for the sleeves to create a highly sophisticated, complete look.

Note from the Loom: This saree is a certified handloom masterpiece from the Ilkal cluster. The Topi Teni technique involves physically interlocking the silk warp of the pallu with the cotton warp of the body. Any minor slubs, tiny irregularities, or thread variations at the joint are prized characteristics of this highly intensive manual process.

Shipping is free within India for all our orders.
For all international orders, we charge the customer at actuals. We use DHL, Aramex or Fedex depending on the service availability and cost for the location.
We offer return within 3 days of receipt of the order if there is any major defect in the saree/ dupatta or sizing issues with blouses. Please note, no return is accepted for customized stitching orders of blouses or sarees for which fall/edging have been done or pre-order has been placed by the customer. Since these are handmade products, minor irregulaties in weaving or crafting will not be considered a defect, it is in fact a proof of the authenticity of the product.
