A sublime tribute to the colours of a sun-dappled landscape, ‘Marmara’ is defined by its rare, earthy mustard-olive green body. This unique hue strikes a beautiful balance between modern minimalism and natural, organic warmth. Hand-woven with a premium fine-silk warp and a soft, resilient cotton weft, the gossamer-like body possesses a magnificent, luminous sheen that prevents the earth tone from looking flat, instead giving it a glowing, liquid-gold drape under daylight.
Framing this warm, olive-tinged body is a beautifully proportioned, medium-width antique gold zari border. The border is intricately detailed with a traditional Maheshwari diamond-check weave, crowned at its inner edge by a delicate, repeating serrated step motif (the iconic chatai or fort-wall-inspired pattern) that cleanly and elegantly defines the drape.
The palla of 'Marmara' is a mesmerising study in colour blocking and metallic textures. The warm mustard-olive body transitions into a cool, deep teal-green block, mimicking the breathtaking confluence where the sunlit earth meets deep, mysterious waters. This rich teal canvas is heavily detailed with closely spaced, vertical gold zari pinstripes, creating a highly sophisticated, metallic-aquatic finish that shimmers with every movement. Framed by thick, vertical antique gold bands and finished with fine, hand-knotted dark tassels, it makes a truly unforgettable statement over the shoulder.
Comes complete with an unstitched running silk-cotton blouse piece (75 cm) in matching mustard-olive green, finished with the matching antique gold zari border with the geometric chatai detailing.

Note from the Loom: This saree is a certified handloom luxury product. The fine translucency, slight irregularities in the organic texture, and minor manual shifts in the geometric zari weave are celebrated hallmarks of authentic artisan craft on a traditional Madhya Pradesh wooden loom.
Product Note: Due to the delicate silk-cotton blend, the exact hue of the marigold yellow shifts dynamically depending on warm or cool ambient lighting. The blouse featured in the photoshoot is for styling representation purposes only.
