The Saree
A serene, luminous tribute to the quiet transition of twilight in Bengal, the body of this authentic handwoven Dhonekhali masterpiece is beautifully understated. Crafted with incredible care in the historic weaving clusters of West Bengal, the plain-weave main canvas is dipped in a soft, dreamy Parfait Peach shade that feels wonderfully comforting and comforting to the eye. Providing the ultimate frame to this soft pastel body is an incredibly detailed, highly rhythmic dobby Naksha Paar woven in a contrasting, vibrant leaf green.
The border architecture is meticulously planned: starting at the outermost edge with a 0.5 cm wide green stripe, it flows into a thin white pinstripe highlight, followed by a 0.5 cm wide peach band. It then opens up into the main star border panel—detailing an exquisite sequence of rounded clover-like star motifs, which is beautifully encased on both sides by crisp white pinstripes. The design finishes elegantly on the inner edge with another 0.5 cm solid peach stripe, a final white pinstripe highlight, and a classic running row of traditional leaf green temple motifs.
The Pallu
The pallu is a beautifully balanced, graphic continuation of the saree’s botanical colour theme. It features a rich, heavy cluster of horizontal stripes in varying widths of vibrant leaf green, cutting cleanly across the peach base. Grounding this striking linear layout over the shoulder are rows of the iconic 'Dhaaner Sheesh' (sheaf of paddy) motif, meticulously handwoven in alternating leaf green and white extra-weft threads for a flawless heritage signature.
The Blouse
This saree is a standalone heritage piece and does not come with a blouse piece. To curate a polished, highly sophisticated look, pair it with a solid sleeveless leaf green cotton blouse to tie in with the intricate borders, a tailored peach linen crop top, or a crisp white boat-neck blouse to elegantly draw out the fine pinstripe highlights.

If you prefer a completely fluid drape, we recommend soaking the saree overnight in salt water to easily remove the starch. The fabric possesses an incredible quality of growing softer, more fluid, and more supple with every subsequent wash and wear.
- Care Instructions: Gentle hand wash separately in cold water only using a mild liquid detergent. Do not wring or squeeze excessively. Avoid drying in direct sunlight to maintain the distinct brilliance of the turmeric yellow and green hand-dyed yarns.
