The Saree

A radiant celebration of warm sunshine and cool coastal accents, the body of this authentic Begumpuri masterpiece is handwoven from premium pure cotton in a rich, glowing chrome yellow shade. The main canvas is beautifully detailed with vertical rows of extra-weft geometric motifs that depict delicate, stylised flower buds. Adding an exquisite layer of depth to the design, these rows are cleverly configured: one row features solid bright turquoise blue floral buds, while the alternating row presents the exact same geometric motif but with a crisp white centre, providing the perfect artistic highlight. These extra-weft rows are thoughtfully spaced farther apart across the main body of the saree and grow progressively closer together as they approach the pallu. Framing this vibrant canvas is a 2.5-inch wide teal blue handwoven border, detailed with two thin chrome yellow pinstripes running through its centre along the entire length. The border gracefully concludes with a playful, half-inch multi-striped edge made of alternating chrome yellow and teal blue pinstripes for a sharply tailored finish.

The Pallu

The pallu is a magnificent showcase of traditional Bengal textile architecture, featuring a dense and dramatic Chiur layout on the chrome yellow base. It is heavily packed with rows of the signature geometric extra-weft flower bud motifs, woven in a vibrant blend of turquoise blue and pristine white. This rich concentration of traditional motifs over the shoulder creates an unforgettable, highly textured statement that drapes spectacularly.

The Blouse

This saree is a standalone heritage piece and does not come with a blouse piece. To curate a sophisticated, high-contrast look, pair it with a solid teal blue boat-neck blouse, a sleeveless turquoise linen crop top, or a crisp white cotton blouse with delicate lace detailing to echo the white centres of the body motifs.
