The Saree
An exceptional display of high-contrast artistry and rich rhythm, the body of this masterfully handwoven cotton saree is dipped in a captivating, deep azure blue. The midnight-adjacent blue canvas is brought to life by alternating rows of intricate extra-weft geometric patterns woven in crisp white and fiery red, creating an enchanting visual texture across the fabric. Framing this deep body is a beautifully structured 3.5-inch wide border. The border is built on a soft, light grey base colour. Layered elegantly on top of this grey base is a detailed dobby-woven pattern that depicts a stylised, curvy temple wave design rendered in matching deep azure blue. This deliberate play of a dark motif on a light grey frame creates an immaculate, tailored silhouette.
The Pallu
The pallu is a breathtaking showcase of the traditional Bengal Chiur layout, celebrated for its dense, multi-layered alignment of fine stripes. It features a spectacular concentration of extra-weft geometric motifs woven in vibrant red and white. These heritage patterns are rhythmically interspersed with running horizontal stripes of soft light grey, offering a beautiful visual transition over the shoulder. The entire drape concludes with artisan-crafted, hand-tied tassels for a clean, sophisticated finish.
The Blouse
This saree is a standalone heritage piece and does not come with a blouse piece. To accentuate its striking geometric patterns, pair it with a solid sleeveless ivory cotton blouse, a tailored crimson red crop top, or a soft light grey boat-neck blouse for a contemporary workspace look.
